Why exact matching matters
The project lists Fabric, NeoForge and Forge overall, but each published file supports a particular Minecraft version and loader. A 26.3 Fabric file is not a 26.3 NeoForge file. Required dependencies can also differ by release. For 26.2 Fabric, the author’s newer CurseForge file needs its own dependency check.
