Official Minecraft updates — Java and Bedrock

Mojang announced a 2027 plan for both editions at Minecraft LIVE. No exact release date or Sift snapshot is confirmed in the checked official sources. This section changes only after a new official announcement is verified.

Minecraft Dungeons II

Mojang announced September 29, 2026 as the launch date. The official page still displays pre-order messaging at the time of this check, so regional play availability remains unverified. Its Sift rifts belong to this separate game.

September 2026 — Java and Bedrock plan

The Minecraft LIVE recap announced that the Sift would come to Minecraft Java and Bedrock in 2027. The official announcement does not provide an exact date or a full feature list.

August 2026 — Dungeons II reveal

Mojang’s Dungeons II gameplay trailer introduced the Sift as a new dimension entered through rifts. The company separately announced a September 29 launch date for Dungeons II.

Community mod releases and version changes

The local Modrinth snapshot records Mielon’s author-published files, supported Minecraft versions, loaders and dependencies.
